has any one tryed converting 35mm slides by using lens adapter to digital cameras they look good on e bay but im not sure? thanks . jerrys

I have.
I use an Opteka slide copier that I got from 47th street photo (they have the same one on ebay). I use it on my DiMAGE 7Hi, and I get some pretty good results of slides that are over 25 years old now.

I tried with my s414 and my panasonic fz10 and both kinda worked, but it was troublesome and kinda low res. I even tried a macro lens for the s414 and I tried the slide option on my canoscan 3200. Finally I broke down and bought the Dimage IV film scanner (about $300) and it works fast and perfectly. I scanned over a thousand old slides.

If you don't want to buy the scanner I could probably scan what ever slides you have for about 33 cents each plus about $5 for shipping and writing the files to CD or DVD, or maybe you could rent my scanner or buy it.
