I have been experimenting with Raw files in my 7Hi. It appears that they have significantly more noise than the JPEG's. Is this anyone elses experience, and if so, how have you reduced the excess noise?

I have found the MRW files to have less noise than the JPG files, but the Dimage Viewer does not do a good job converting MRW files.
The RAW converters I have tried that work well are: Dalibor Jelinek's MRWFormat Photosop plugin Adobe Camera Raw (Photoshop 7/Elements 2 plugin) Patrick Porlan's Image Shifter Dave Coffin's dcraw.c |

Thank you. I looked at the pages associated with them and it appears that I must try each one in order to get a feel for them.
