Hey guys....Can someone help me get some information on 2x Teleconverters for a Minolta Dimage 7hi? Do I need a step-up ring or lens adapter (not sure if they are the same thing). Would like to get a 2x teleconverter that doesn't cause any vignetting. If I do need a step-up ring/adapter, could someone direct me to a place online where I could get the 2x teleconverter and the step-up ring please?
Thanks in advance ![]() |

KCan, I'm not a pro...so please forgive me for all the dumb questions
![]() I found this on Ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=30068 Wouldn't that lens work well for the Minolta Dimage 7hi since it has a 49mm mouting thread? Also, found this.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=30070 Please let me know if I'm not taking into account something important in looking for teleconverters. Thank you again. |

NewbieX,
49mm thread doesn’t mean at all that it will work well with D7xx , It depends on the optics design. See here for some info about add on lenses tested with D7xx: http://webpages.charter.net/bbiggers...on_lenses.html The second product seems to be designed exclusively for D7xx, but I have no idea how “good” it is . But I am pretty sure that you will loose some F stop with that lens. |
