What is the real material difference? Looking for a quick point 'n shoot to replace a dead Canon S100 that is off to factory repair. Need something equivalent or better for about $300 for a wedding next weekend. I like the size and the use of SD memory of the Dimage's, so... any real suggestions?

I performed a pretty good search of digital cameras and settled on the dimage xt....and so far it has proven to be an excellent camera for my needs.

Go for the xt - looks better and functions seem easier to use. :P
