I have had my Z2 for a couple of months and have had a great time with it.
Unfortunately, I have began to get a "system error" message when reviewing pictures on the camera. I noticed this for the first time after taking a bunch of Christmas pictures. When downloading them to my computer, there was one picture that was not viewable and I think it said the picture was "corrupt". I deleted the picture and then noticed that I get a "system error" when reviewing pictures. I can review all of my pictures but when I get to the end I get the error message and it will sometimes power down. I googled this error message and came up with this website as the best way to ask a "pro". I am a novice and would appreciate any feedback any of you may have. Thanks in advance! |

I think it's more likelyto be your Secure Digital Card (but there could be other things wrong, too).
I'd try formatting the card via the Camera Menus (not with a PC), and see if the errors go away. It's possible that the FAT (File Allocation Table) is corrupt, so a format will create a new one. If that doesn't help, you may want to try a different SD card and see if that solves it. Sometimes battery voltage can also cause strange symptoms. I'd make sure you are using full charged, high capacity NiMH Batteries. |
