I have a Minolta 2000xi, but when I take pictures they are over exposed, I have tried numerous exposure bracketing settings and the "power" of the flash on the menu selection. I am probably missing some easy setting to get the over exposure to go away. Any suggestions with these additional flashes?

Only flashes with suffix 'D' are compatible with the D7i, ie 5600HS (D) or 3600HS (D). The 2000xi only goes on full blast! You can put the camera on manual and then close down the aperture... or try to reduce the 2000xi power by using the flash ratio control (if the flash has this feature).
