I have a Minolta A1 with a bad LCD screen. I have another Minolta A1 which I can use for parts. However I am not sure how to do that. I opened up the LCD back and see something that look like a long connector with a small second connector (pls see attached pic). I tried to gently disconnect both but without luck. Does anyone know if these connectors are the right ones to disconnect and how. Any suggestions or diagrams would be appreciated.
thanks in advance |

These are locking connectors that need to be separated before removing the cables. You should be able to see the collar on the ribbon cable connector, which needs to be pried out slightly in order to release the cable. The samll connector also has a locking tab, which needs to be pried up to remove the plug end.
