Hi, I recently purchased a 7 HI and have been using the included battery charger. It seems that many prefer the Maha 401 battery charger instead. Also, when I looked on their web site, I noticed that they now sell 2000 mv batteries. Any comments on these questions?

There is no Maha charger available in Hong Kong. However, I have been using GP charger and batteries for years and find them very reliable and durable. Try this HK band!

The Maha 401 charges 4 batteries independently, but it's still 100 minutes... The Rayovac is only 1hr, but most of the time it's less!

I also have he Maha 401 charger, and in the car this charger sometimes 'locks up'. It does this when the included lighter plug comes part way loose from the charger. After pluggin it back in, it seems to not detect the current charge state of the batteries and just start charging them again from scratch. What u end up with is some very very hot batteries that may become damaged. Thank God I did not leave them in the car a really long time, they may have causes a fire or something. But without this problem, it works really well over the stock charger they supply.
