I have a D7hi and love it. Just to have a camera with me at all times, I would now like to purchase an ultra mini digicam on the order of the D Xi or similar. I note that Casio also makes one in this size category, however it is more point and shoot for some half the price. Looking for advice. I have read all reviews on the D Xi.

I have the DimageX and really like it. Its so convenient to have a tiny little camera to have with me all the time. My only regret is that its only 2megapixels. And since the Xi is 3 megs and has improvements from the X, I'd recommend it. I also have the 7i which I use for important events.

Why not get a Minolta F100. I have a Nikon D100 and it's too bulky to carry at all times. My Minolta is small compact has manual setting and takes great pictures. Best of all I have one of those small cases that fits on a belt. Don't leave home without it.

I'd agree. My F100 is small enough to take anywhere and it is loaded with features so you don't have to compromise.
