I have a 1.5x, 3x, and 5x teleconverts all third party. I even get the vignette effect with the 1.5x as well as the other ones.

I don't know if any lens for the camera will produce an image without some vignetting of the edges.

I got the dimage a200 because it had a remote. I like the camera so far. I just can't get a good closeup without the vignette effect.

I have the A200 with the ACW-100 0.8x wide angle converter and an Olympus A-200 1.5x tele converter. The results with the ACW-100 are superb. No vignetting and sharp from corner to corner. With the Olympus A-200 there is again no vignetting but sharpness is not optimal but usable. However, there are better Olympus converters like the TCON 14B 1.45 or the TCON 17 1.7x converter. One needs an adapter with these two converters, though. In general, there are less problems with tele converters than with wide angle converters. Since the ACW-100 works already very well, I certainly to expect the same from the ACT-100, but I don't have it.
Click on the thumb nail below for a full resolution pic shot with the ACW-100 attached to the A200.
