Minolta G500/Konica KD-510z Colour issues
I've been playing and learning more with my new camera... however I am having a issue :( If you look at some of my test pics at you will see that the Reds are coming in REALLY strong, to the point where they almost glow. You can see in the picture of my daughter with some pink on here where the pinks are coming out red, in fact it is impossible for me to take a picture of the pink fluffy things (Inside with flash) without the colours coimg in really strong. Any sugestions?

Does anywone know if there is any firmware updates? I'm currently on 3.00a (Go into setup and hit the display)

I have firmware revision 3.02a on my G500. To turn down the color on your camera, go into SETUP/QUALITY. You can set Saturation, Contrast , Color and Sharpness in that menu. That might help.

Yep found the red adjustment after I posted! Didn't realise there was more to that menu till I scrolled to the bottom by accident! I wonder if it's possible to upgrade the firmware on these?

I believe it is, but I have not checked to see if there are any yet.

Any idea where we would check? The UK Konica/Minolta site does not even admit to the 510 camera yet!! And I can't speak/read Japanese :(

This is where I check for firmware updates:

But no G500 updates posted yet.

Konica Minolta Firmware Site
Look here for Konica´s firmware updates:

and here another (english language) site:

I am also searching for a firmware update for my KD-510z, because i have also problems with focusing in low light conditions and many red eyed pictures  . It would be great, if the new firmware changes the videolength to infinity, like the KD-420.

Sorry for my (bad?) english.
