Minolta Wide Angle Adapter for Z-1

I just ordered a ZWC-100 wide angle adapter kit for my Z1. I found it on the net for $104.90 including shipping. Is anyone using this accessory lens. What do you think?

Yes, I put the cart before the horse. Buy first and ask questions later. If I don't like it, someone on ebay is going to get a deal!

I've had mine a while & for the money it works OK.
Never ever try to zoom with it on - you won't like the pictures.
The adaptor tube is very useful for mounting 52mm filters.

Took this when I first got the lens...

Nice picture - nice Bugatti!!!

I figured you wouldn't want to zoom with the w/a adapter in place. That would defeat the purpose, wouldn't it? I think there is something in the setup menu to disable the zoom when you use the adapter lens. I al;ready have an adapter tube I found on ebay. Very handy to protect the lens.

Thanks for the response. Cheers!
