New Lexar Compact Flash Cards

Does anyone know if the Minolta 7Hi can use the new Lexar higher speed compact flash cards?

if your refering to the new 512MB and 1 gig cards with write accel. they'll work but the write accel is not supported at this time. they will write as fast as the bus will allow. i use delkin pros and their pretty much at the bus limit. that is a single RAW shot takes approx 12.5 sec to go to the card from transfer light on to light off.

write accel (WA) is a propriatary bit of code that lexar markets to camera makers that allows their cards to write just a little faster then a equivelent competitor.

ref this page for how it affects write speeds in pro cameras. there is no firm data on consumer cameras at this time. note the dramatic differences from model to model.
