I'm used to shoot both indoor mini-z, hard to do, and outdoor 1/8, 1/10 and bigfoots. Yesterday I did a session on the new bigfoots, the CEN with 5hp.
Minolta G400, always in manual mode. Outdoors: It depends on how the weather is. I'm very limited because I can't use a polarizer. Usually I shoot around the 1/200, mark. A bit faster if there's much sun, and ISO between 50 and 100, depending on the sun. I use the panning technique. Indoors mini-z: Iso100, shutter 1/100 (you must try some pics to set it), flash. I usually shoot in macro mode, and very close to the cars. Again using the panning technique. As soon as I have the chance I'll post some pics. |

Excellent pics RC18T. You're clearly getting the hang of shutter control because most of those are nice and crisp.
Enjoy your camera! |

Here are some pics.
All the pics were taken while the cars were moving. I like to take the pics while people are driving, those are the the real action moments. Outdoors ![]() ![]() Mini-Z indoors ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

HI,
I got My Z3 yesterday and it's giving me problems connecting to my PC.... I tried on 3 different Machine with different OS.. ( 98, 2000 and NT) and the same result.. the camera does not seem to recognize the connection.. the screen never says "Initializing USB Connection".. I got it over internet so returing the camera I want to keep as last resort.. If any one had similar problem please help... I am thinking of getting an USB card reader if camera connection does not work.. It it a good idea ? The AV connection from camera is working fine.. An on those PCs other USB devices are working fine.. Regards, Vikas |
