:? Recorded just fine but when looking at file in windows explorer it is an .avi file. Is this correct. Instruction manual says will be a .jpeg file. In any case what software is recommended for these clips. Right now only thing I have that will open file is Quicktime.
Need help please. Appreciate any words regarding recording, viewing, and saving movie clips. thanks in advance. |

You can use Windows Media Player to view your movie files generated by the S404. I also noted it said that the motion pic files were .jpeg but they are saved in an .avi format. I don't know enough about motion video recording to tell you what's going on here. But the bottom line is you have an .avi file which can be viewed thru Windows Media Player.
Please remember that the movie files are fairly low level (320 x 240) and trying to view them in a window larger than about 4 x 6 inches produces lousy quality. |
