S414 Viewfinder

I have an S414 whose viewfinder appears to have a piece of shipping plastic over it when you look through it though it doesn't. Someone else said their 404 has a sand blasted apearance inside the viewfinder, probably the same as mine. Do any other owners of these cameras have the same problem? Thanks

I have an S414 and also experienced that I cannot see very sharply through the viewfinder. In most of the cases it does not disturb me.
