![]() I am trying to find out what settings I should use for my Minolta camera in order to be able to shoot sports events without the flash. An ISO over 200 gives me a lot of noise, and shutter speed below 1/215 gives me dark pictures, even with aperture at 2.8. Is it that Minolta 7Hi is not good for this type of pictures, or am I doing something wrong? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Andreea |

If you put it in sport action mode it will give you the fastest shutter for the available light and ISO selected. There is no magic you can do with manual controls.
You might consider trying the free version of Neat Image. The demo is considered freeware for non-commercial use and doesn't expire. If you mess with the settings it does a nice job on noise without degrading the image very much. |
