Went for the 7i over the 5700, from what you guys say I made the right move. I'll see. The last digital photog I used was over ten years ago, a three pass leaf back for fuji 2.25 and view camera. I know nothing about digital film. You say format in camera, where do I find in the menu FORMAT? More questions to come, I'm on pins waiting for the camera.

From the main control wheel, turn it counter clockwise from the OFF position to the SETUP position. A menu will show up on the LCD with a warning sign for FORMAT, (3rd item down).
BTW most card if not all including the microdrive come pre-formatted and ready to go... (ie that's how they tested them or screened for speed rating!) D7i Manuals here. [Edited on 7-25-2002 by NHL] |
