My beloved F200 has been stolen, so I'm after adifferent camera to replace it.
Although I loved the F200, things have moved on since then so I'm wondering if anyone who loved their 200has had to replace their camera, and what camera they have ended up with ? I liked the Minolta sharp lens (didnt like the Canon A75 which I tried) but wasn't so keen on the colourimetry on the F200. But I prefer the Canon colour, but found too many blurredshots on the A75.Has anyone gone fromF200 to the Canon A520/A95 cameras? Things Iliked in the F200 and would like to see in the new camera: AA batteries - Sharp lens like the F200, with little or no chromatic abberations. Aperture priority- shutter priority, manual, flash compensation One touch image playback by buttonpress (no switches or dials) Unlimited video with sound (or at least 3 minute clips) Exposure compensation Fast shot to shot time, burst mode, fast flash recharge THINGS I WOULD LIKE IN THE NEW CAMERA WHICH THE F200 didn't have A bigger 1.8in screen or bigger Fast startup and zooming Good battery life bigger zoom 4x or above automatic record to email file size (without having to individually convert large images to small in camera) One touch power button on/off Canon, or "european" colour (The F200 had, what I would describe as a slightly NTSC or "funny" colour. All responses welcome! |
