Default A word about Monilta and Ritz Camera

It's been six weeks since my S404 went back to Minolta for repair. Still no word at all when it will be fixed and sent back. Ritz Camera hasn't been any help either. I call to get a status and all I'm told is it could be another month. I even have the extended service policy from Ritz. Nice job Minolta and Ritz. So far Ritz has done nothing or made any offers to help me.

it is ritz not minolta trust me. I has same thing with 5000i model. They had my camera for 6 months till i took legal action then it got returned un fixed and they gave me a new camera. Ritz services them in house or they try to service them. Never ever buy a ritz warantee. If you do then you will be again blitzed by ritz.

I've sent my camera (fedex supersaver) to Minolta twice: once for an initial red EVF problem, and another for replacing the rubber eye cup. Both times I've got the camera back within 2 weeks, follow first by a Minolta letter of acknowlegment!

I thought this was outstanding...
