What's the lowest price on the Xt/Xg now, and where? I've only seen as low as $269...

Also, is Minolta planning to come out with a 4MP version of the Dimage X series anytime soon?

You can get a refurbished X20 for US $120 on Ebay right now, with a 3 or 6 month warranty. For that kinda money, its a very easy decision IMO.

There is a review of the X20 on megapixel.net. Check out the pictures in the "image quality" section, you'd be shocked at what the thing can produce with a mere 2MP - the pics were pretty crisp and tight!

The Xg seems like a better deal to me than the Xt. But at the price of the X20, I'd still go for that over Xg and Xt, if all you're printing is 4 x 6's and internet pics.

The Xg and Xt might be a more worthwhile deal in 5-6 months when price has dropped closer to the $200 range or below.

I agree - the X20 produces excellent results - I found the Xt lacking even with the extra megapixel..... everyone I show the X20 to - adores it ! Its cool to look at and handle and my word it churns out very respectable pics !

I think there is a difference between xt and xg on the inside too
The xg have the newer generation imaging processor(cxprocessor2 or something like that, whereas xt has the first generation). In fact all the newer camera(A2 and Z2) come with this processor. It says that this is like the brain of the camera that control color etc(almost like the DIGIC in canon). It should make a difference, isn't it?
