updated the firmware recently to the latest version, majority of problems id had before with it crashing etc, havnt occured since, however ive noticed these verticle streaks since i updated, never noticed them before, im rather confused:?i do use iso 400 a lot, but i have to in order to take photos at sports events when it gets dark.

I wanted to thank everyone for their input.
same type of streaking happens with objects, people, etc. after talking it over with the people at Konica/Minolta, I found they had no solution to the problem - basically tough luck was the message I got. so I decided to return the Z3. I am wary now of any digicams from Konica/Minolta I'm now thinking about the panasonic with anti-shake/Lumix. |

I also had the streaking problem andthe Z3crashed for the first time on the same day. Firmware was 1.01 and I have now loaded 1.02 to see if it cures the problem. Attached is a portion of the image. Camera was in action mode, ISO 50, exposure auto, noise reduction on, colour normal, most other settings on auto and normal. Just by the way,when I collected my Z3, I took some test shots outside the shop and it seemed like the anti-shake was working in reverse! It actuallycreated double images even at high shutter speeds. Needless to say the camera was exchanged immediately.
