Default Dimage 7i turn sound off?

I've been through the instruction manual twice and all I see is the three sound levels on the set up menu. Is there any way to turn the sound 100% off?
I just got this camera last week and can't believe I dilly dallied for the past 6 months making the decission. It's awesome! (although I've now picked up a third set of Ni-MH batteries for the thirsty little guy. ).

Only the shutter effect sound can be turn off 100%
If it annoys you, you can always put a masking tape over the speaker holes.

To turn off almost all sounds: Go into Setup mode.
1. On the Basic menu, set 'Audio signals' to Off. This turns off the sounds when you press buttons and make menu selections.
2. On the Basic menu, set 'Shutter FX' to Off. This turns off the focus confirmation and shutter sounds.

Remaining sounds:
You cannot turn off the playback of the audio recorded in movies. You can disable recording of audio in movies by turning off the audio in the Basic menu of Movie mode.
Voice annotations are turned off by default, and will only be played if you press the center button while the image is displayed in playback or quick view.
You cannot turn off recording audio in UHS movies if you turn on UHS movies.
