Default is the LCD on the DiMage x20 adequate?

The newly released Minolta Dimage x20 lacks a viewfinder so you have to rely exclusively on the LCD to frame your subject. I wonder if its brightness and contrast is adequate to see what you are framing, in daylight or when it is dark.

Anybody owning the X20 can share your experience please because I want to buy one but is hesitant because of the LCD issue

many thanks
