Default How fast can an AI write

Can an AI take advantage of the fast CF cards like the 32X and above cards or are these cards a waste of money on this camera. I will mostly be taking burst shots

The camera write time hasn't improved much from the D7Hi, I believe it's still max out @ 12x or around ~10-13s/raw; However you won't see this cumulative delay until after the buffer is full (ie @ 5 frames), but the camera will let you shoot as soon as each picture is flushed from the buffer to the CF after that...

NHL so with that said a Microdriive would be just as fast as a CF card with this camera right?

Right!

I should be about ~12s/raw, but as long as you stay under 5 frames burst the camera buffer should cover you...
