Default Simpletech 512 compactflash

Hope this helps someone I just bought 10 512 compactfash cards from Simpletech to use in my 7i only to be told by Simpletech that they will not work in the 7i. Any one else having this problem? The 32 meg cards work and so do Sandisk 256/384 cards.

Default Ridata, Ritek and Transend work great

The Ritek, Ridata, and the Transend work great for the D7i. They all write a raw file in about ten seconds which is the fastest on the market.

I have the Transend and have had no problems.

I got a Mr. Flash 256mb card early on and found it wouldn't work in my D7. I've had to make do with 128mb cards until I got my microdrive. I use the 356mb card in my 1.3mb Canon. A bit overkill but I never run out.

Default 256 and 512

Well i bought a 256 and a 512Mb compact flash card from Simpletech and both are not working "Unable to use card" is the error message.

They cost me a little fortune and the dealer won't take them back because the compact flash cards is working in other camera's.

I hope that Minolta will fix the time-out error ( if that's the problem ) in the next firmware update ?!?!.
