Default A2 and autofocus

Anyone got issues with an A2 and autofocus in low light (say 1/30th at F4) ? At long lens distance, mine doesn't seem too good. But then it may be me - I'm used to a Finepix F602. So, any guidance welcomed.

To answer my own question a bit - the A2 was set on the intelligent autofocus so it chose where it wanted to focus, not necessarliy where I was looking. In low light, it seems to go just about anywhere.

I need to seriously play with this - it isn't a toy, is it !!!

It may not be you. The Minolta A2 has been reviewed to have erratic focussing issues.

Look on the below attached link to a trip review made by Michael Reichmann, he amoung other things talk about the A2 and autofocus.
