Nice one Puck. When i read about these 10x zoom cameras I get the impression that a tripod is vital but looking at all these handheld shots i don't think they are. I suppose it depends how steady you are. :-)
Lots of light and fast shutter speeds help too.:?

Yes, i'm learning that light seems to be the major factor in photography. I only got my first ever camera in March but i'm already lining up it's replacement. :-)

Speaking of lots of light. Is anyone using an external flash with their Z1 or Z2?

Hi Mr E

Here is a link to one the same as I have and from the same seller, quickand efficient -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WD2V

If this link doesn't work, then use the following search at E Bay:-

KONICA MINOLTA Z1 TUBE ADAPTER

(When I just put in - Minolta Z1 adapter - they did not come up)

Although not a Minolta make, it is metal andfits perfectly and I bought a good skylight lens (I think that is what its called !) lens from Jessops. The silver finish on the adapter is a bit brighter than than the Minolta shell, but that is only an asthetic thing. So much happier using it now that it is protected ! All photos coming out as perfect as before, subject to user's ability !

That's strange about Jessops, that is where I bought my camera only 3 weeks ago, and they phoned their head office and said the adapter was not available in the UK !!

typical.........
