Hi All,
Very close to buying this camera, but one thing is a concern,
how is the Electronic View Finder to use in very bright sunlight ???

I have heard stories of the picture beig very "washed out" and having a "blue" cast when looking through EVF making it almost impossible to see
also are the pictures generally sharp ???
My main camera is a 10D but is really to heavy to use as a travel camera
so I am use to good pictures

any experiences would be helpful......please feel free to E-mail me at [email protected]
l

thanks

I use my EVF all the time in bright sunlight andand it is much more useful than the LCD screen which is harder to see in bringt light. Occasionally if I point the camera in the direction of the sun (not at the sun) I get blue lines in the display but I can still see the image with no problem.

hello I completely agree with puck, i think the evf is good even in full light situations. I have the annoying blue lines too but it does not harm too much
