I still can't decide whether to buy the Z2. :?: As my usual luck goes, the day I buy it, Minolta will announce the Z3 with AF assist light and stabilized CCD and half the price. Six months elapsed between Z1 and Z2 and now we are at five months after the Z2.

Sorry about the triple post, I got MySQL errors until I filled in the number of days for the poll.

I don't think the Z3 will have either feature. They would both be nice, but AS would drive the price beyond it's bracket. AF assist is feasible, I suppose, but doubtful. (Too bad someone can't hack out a way to overpower the self-timer lamp...) I think the Z3 will be 5MP, it might manage SVGA video at full 30fps, but that's iffy at best. It'll also have a few minor tweaks like the Z2 did. It'd be nice if it were a 28-280mm, but that's not gonna happen either.

IMO, 28-280 doesn't fit in this size, or only with a very bad aperture.

5MP and 30 fps is not enough for a Z1/Z2 owner to upgrade. But probably the owners are not important, as they are much less in numbers than new possible customers.
