Default filters

Are there different types of filters available for the 7i? Any information would be appreciated.

All standard 49mm will fit; However, for polarizer use only the thin B&W type or you'll get vignetting!

will a 3mm B&W CP on top of a front-threaded 4mm B&W UV produce vignetting?

Don't know...(but 7mm is quite thick compare to regular ones).

I haven't try but if that's what you intend to do, then a 49 to 55mm(or higher) adapter is a better choice, plus you don't have to get the expensive and thin B&W!

Default Cokin

Just get a cokin holder and you can use up to three filters with no edges.
