Took this one last night at Brooklyn Piers across from the South Street Seaport. This image has not been post-processed whatsoever aside from reducing the size.

By the way, I kept referring to it as "Camden" it's actually near the Cadman Plaza exit of the BQE, but the area is called Brooklyn Heights.

Here's the original:

One thing I'd like to mention is, given the location of the sun in the sky, I'm sure you realize it was not quite that dark. However, I wanted to capture the sun's rays nicely without over-exposing, so I played with the settings. Here's the relevant Exif for how I achieved the effect (by the way, I was just experimenting, I am not good enough to have planned this exactly):

Make: KONICA MINOLTA
Model: DiMAGE Z3
Exposure time [s]: 1/400
Exposure bias [EV]: 0.0
F-Number: F8.0
Focal length [mm]: 5.859375
35mm focal length [mm]: 35
ISO value: 50
Max. aperture: F2.8
Subj. distance range: Distant view
Flash: Not fired, auto mode
Metering mode: Multi-segment
Gain control: None
Light source: Unknown
White balance: Auto
Contrast: Normal
Saturation: Normal
Sharpness: Normal
Brightness: 10.50

Now that you're comparing, tell me what you think.
