Ok.. I'm confused on why I can't get the Z3 to connect to my computer. I successfully installed the software on my laptop (XP) without any issues and have read, transferred and deleted pictures.

However, When trying to install the software on my g/f's laptop (Windows ME), it installs fine from what I can tell, I reboot the computer, plug the cable into the camera, plug it into the usb port on the laptop and the camera then says "Initializing USB connection" and just stays like that.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still can't get beyond this stage. Any help/suggestions?

Thanks

Sorry, don't know specifically what may be wrong, but try this pdf from KM. Scroll to the bottom right and look under compatible computers/notes. http://www.minoltaeurope.com/cgi-bin...MAGE_Z3_UK.pdf

Hope this is some help.
