Default 7Hi Flash Sync Term

The 7Hi is equipped with a flash sync terminal. Does that mean that you can safely use any old generic gun regardless of its voltage output?
Kind regards

For higher voltage isolation Minolta has made the PCT-100! May be someone else can lookup the max rating on the PC terminal...

Question: Does the DiMAGE 7Hi support the use of external flash units
including studio lights?
Answer: Yes, it does. External flash units and studio lights can be used with
a sync cord when connected to the DiMAGE 7Hi sync terminal. (sync
voltage: below 400V, correspond to antipolarity)

Default 7Hi Flash T

Thank you everybody! I thought that the terminal on the 7Hi was going to take care of every old flash gun but obviously it won´t. I was hoping to be able to use my old Vivitar 2800 but I have no idea about its voltage output.
