Default OOOOOhhhhhhhhh.

Just received my 7Hi at work about 1.5 hrs. ago. Batteries charging now. I think I'm gonna expunge some sort of bodily fluids. (Sorry) This is my first digital camera. To think up till a few months ago I was using an old bottom of the line film Chinon that the batteries didn't even work in half the time.

This thing's really nice. Nice shape. Very nice & small, and ergonomically right feeling. The next month's gonna be fun.

By the way, "expunge" means to delete, not to excrete.

Default oh, i don't know...lust seems about right :)

thanks to you guys for your comments.

I finally turned it on this morning (after a long time of battery charging), and I have to say that it is a very new experience, looking through this device. You have to understand that I've got a long time of creative ideas built up around what this (& other future cameras) will do for me, i feel. It's just great. I think of how much a camera like this would've cost 5-10 years ago (as if they would've had all the features, etc.) Already looking forward to foveon video cams.

expunge--bad choice, esp. for english major. bad brain. excretion it is!

No filter yet. gotta get one. i know about the protection, etc. just bought the camera plain & simple.

thanks to Steve for this forum. it's a great resource.

Have a nice day all!

Dan
