Several things to try. Some folks just use Gaussian Blur on the Blue Channel. Another trick is to use the Noise/Median filter or Gaussian Blur on the whole photo and then sharpen it.

It's best to switch to LAB Color Mode and sharpen only the Lightness channel when you sharpen. This avoids adding color artifacts. While you're in LAB Mode, you can try blurring the a and b channels and see if that helps. If the lightness channel is not noisy this may help since the a and b channels only carry color info and normally don't affect the sharpness much.

Of course the standard is neatimage. Great results if you have the time and can figure out how to use it.

Is your picture also underexposed? Otherwise it's not noticeable when the picture is printed. If it's is then try this:

Otherwise Jim method works pretty good. Image > Mode > Lab Color with radius value 2->5 on the a and b channel during Gaussian blur.

Thanks Jim & NHL. I've never tried blurring the individual channels before. Can't wait to try it.
