Default Is the 7hi worth the extra $250?

It looks like I'll have to pay an extra $250 for the 7hi over the 7i. I'm looking for opinions as why it would or would not be worth the extra money.

Also looking for best price on either camera with a reputable dealer.

Thanks for the help,
Danny ayo

As for a dealer, I purchased my 7Hi from Genesis Camera (http://genesiscamera.com/) and was very happy with the transaction. The price was very good too, check them out.

Just got my 7i from buydig.com. Best price I found and had no hassle plus fast shipping.

I think that the 7i would suit you just fine. I was in the same boat and finally decided the extra bucks for the 7hi would not be to my benefit.

The extra $250 is only worth it you value shooting in raw or tiff like you said when you compare this camera to the E10/E20. It helps you to shoot continuously in this mode.

With a D7i without a buffer there's @ least a 12s wait when you're in tiff or raw. In jpeg the D7i is just fine, so it's all up to you!
