Default Question about Metering + 7Hi

When in manual mode, I can't seem to adjust the metering mode from multi segment to center weighted, etc. Is this normal? I can adjust the metering mode in P/AP/SP modes but not in manual.

I think this is normal, b/c there is no metering used in manual, so no point.
Also, you make me wondering something: when I am in M mode, I don't see the metering icon. But in the instruction manual, page 52, there is a LCD pic with metering icon in M mode :? , do you notice the same thing on your camera?

There should be shutter and aperture indication in manual (press the i+). Either the shutter or aperture changes to blue as it get selected or adjusted otherwise it stays white!

You should also be able to turn on the real-time histogram with the i+ button as well... Another excellent and unique tool for the manual mode.
