Oh, sweet kitty! Not really homeless, I hope! What a sad, mournful expression he has and it is beautifully framed!

Guys. Don't be afraid to use USM in Photoshop to give the images some bite - remember that A200 images are not as vibrant straight out of the camera as regular P&S cameras.

Hi Catbells,

In fact the original was treated to a little USM, but it's so very subjective, that's the problem. I tend to shy away from using too much especially when the image is to be displayed at low resolution.

I think somewhere between your version and the original would be about right, thanks for your views though, it's always good to get another opinion, it keeps my one remaining brain cell working a bit better!

Best wishes - Frank

Just dipped back in on this site and I am pleased to see people happy with the A-200. I am totally satisfied with mine. Heres a quick pic of my cat (reduced) for my contribution. - Not sure if it will show or not though...
If not - try my photo site and look at animals & pets for him
see you!

Blaenau Ffestiniog - North Wales, a grey town in the heart of what used to be a thriving slate mining industry. It'snow part of Snowdonia National Park and a busy tourist area.

PS. How can I insert a picture to display in the message rather than as an attachment?
