Hello,

I was wondering why the Konica Minolta Z3 does not appear on the Best Cameras Super Zoom list.

I looked at some pictures and it seemed that the Z2 has indeed sharper images. I'm tring to decide between the z2 and the z3 and although I like the pictures from the z2 I have to think aboutthe stabilization feature, right?

Here's a comparison from Anandtech. I believe the Z3 has had firmware updated since then, although I'm not sure.

I find it odd that the Z10 was on the list. The reddish tint and tendency to underexpose turned me off from that unit.

So is the z2 really better than the z3?

I liked the pictures taken with a z2 but it doesn't have the anti shake.

Hi,
I have a Z2 and really like it! Although sometimes I do wish I had the image stabilization, but that's cheating if you ask me. :G Really though if you have a steady hand your good to go. I have not ever used the Z3, but I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything with my Z2. A steady hand, tripod, and you should be fine. I figure why spend the extra money when you can get a tripod that could out last your camera. Also you can use it with other cameras as well. Just my thoughts, hope this helps you.

Thank you, yes it really helps. I'm worried that the pictures taken with a z3 are not as good as with a z2 and I can't find an explanation for this.
