Default Converting Jpegs to vcd

Is there a software that could transfer the photos in Jpeg to a format that a vcd player could read and display like a slide show or something similar?

Thanks.

It's really easy. Just get i.e Nero Burning Rom software and burn your pics directly - as a VCD - put it in your DVD - and...it works very well for me.

You can display as a slideshow and even make a nice menu.

I tried Nero but it needs a VCD file to burn to cd. Can you please tell me where in Nero is the burn directly to VCD command or is there a plugin for Nero?

Thanks again.

Oh sorry, you got to get the VCD plugin! I apologize! You can buy it at their website.

Hi

I originally explored this subject at:

http://www.stevesforums.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4732

But essentially Steve has covered it at:

http://www.steves-digicams.com/digsoftware_cd-dvd.html

By the way, I sadly found out that you have to have a DVD that will play VCD. Mine is 3 years old and won't recognise the CD so it looks I am off to buy a new DVD.

I thought I had the same problem with mine DVD - untill I discovered that most DVDs will play CD-RW, which I use plenty of now.

Nothing was mentioned in my DVD manual about CD-RW - I just burned one, put it in the tray - and after a couple of tries it finally succeeded.
I had to pull the tray in and out a couple of times.

You should try that - have patience in letting try DVD reconize the CD-RW. The essence: NEVER trust a manual.

My DVD is an Panasonic!

I would recommend 'photos to cd and dvd' from www.majix.com
It burns to vcd/svcd/minidvd/dvd and offers some lovely scrolling/blend effects! Check out the demo at the above site!

I linked to it and got a wierd penis enlargement site.

Was that intentional or has someone hijacked the site?
