This is my first attempt at a night shot. Taken this past weekend with my A200.

The Washington Monument

A sundown shot from Wales- about to go dark.Heavily cropped A200 shot from my garden. Sorry about the pole. The view is of the Irish Sea. The main body of high hills are about 70 miles away in Cumbria, England. The very small hills on extreme left are thought to be southern Scotland at about 100 miles. Obviously it's just the tops of the hills we are seeing as both locations are over the horizon. Visibility is only this good on about one day in 100.

I thought the the A200 performed well at maximum tele setting, 1/10 sec, f3.5 (manual) ISO 100.

I like that monument, Howard, it makes a beautiful shot.

Phranque, that's a lovely shot. I hope you don't mind, but you did say. By the way, did you get your TCON yet ?

The phantom pole pincher strikes again ! Where will he strike next? The Eiffel Tower or Moel-y-Parc television transmitter mast? Up and down the country poles are appearing in huge quantities at car boot sales.

That's better Stevekin - well executed!

The TCON - it's on its way from Amazon, thanks for your help with this. I really could have used it yesterday when the visibility was so good. Such conditions rarely last for more thana few minutes so I siezed the moment.
