Calling all A2 owners ..... I can only get the depth of field preview to work if the camera is set to manual focus. It doesn't say anything in the camera manual about not working when set on auto focus, either continous or single? Am I doing something wrong or did they neglect to tell us that it must be set to manual focus for DOF preview to work? Thx. in advance for any advice you might have!

Depth of field preview does work in all the modes the manual says it does, and when set to auto focus. Except when at the shortest focal length (28mm) it doesn't give a preview when the aperture is wide open, f2.8, OR when the lens is at 200mm it won't give a preview at f3.5.

Adjust the aperture and/or the shutter speed, depending which mode you are in.

Stevekin,
Thanks for the response, I guess I have a faulty camera since it definitely does not want to stop down except when I have it set to manual focus. Strange problem .....?
