I used following link to downloadthe A200 firmware upgrade (v 1.01). It is a US website, but the firmware works perfect on my European A200.

Best regards,
Tonny

I can't understand why the A200 is not an option on the UK/Europe site.

I linked to it from another source, still the same. Perhaps the A200 update is universal ?

Phranque, does your firmware version still show 1.01e in your camera ?

I contacted KM Europe support earlier and have just had this reply...

I would expect this upgrade to be available from the European support site with the next few days. A similar upgrade for the Z5 has just gone online, so I think it is just a matter of how much work the administrator has on hand.

There are slight differences in the firmware between US and European models. These make mo difference to the features or operation of the camera, just the language and video defaults, but it makes them mutually incompatible, so you should only use the download from the European site at www.konicaminoltasupport.com, when it becomes available.

This confirms the response I received earlier from KM UK. Anyone that hasn't updated yet should wait until the correct version becomes available.

In the meantime it would be nice to hear ifthe UK/Europe ownersthat have used the US version have done so successfully, meaning, are your cameras still working ok ?

The direct link I gave earlier should, I hope, be updated whenever the A200 firmware update becomes available.

We should have realised, we always seem to lag behind .

I have a Japanese A200 but as I don't read Japanese too well I downloaded from the US site and all seems to be fine.

I've never touched the firmware on my A2. Will upgrading to 1.13 include the benefits of 1.12?

1.12 had the optimized card-write time. I really need that!
