Default What am I doing wrong?

Sometimes I get only half picture, the thumb nail is OK and looks fine, but when enlarging it, there is only a part of the picture there! Happens every now and again, I was never able to locate the reason. Anybody knows?

I could think of several possible reasons for this--including simple human error in cropping. But without more information as to exactly what you did, it's impossible to say.

This is typical for a corrupted JPEG. The thumbnail is actually saved as a separate part of the file, so it could be there even if the full photo isn't. I get that on the last photo or two on a corrupted card. Or you could be pulling the card out of the camera before the file is completely saved.

Formatting the CF card from the PC (fat-32) will also produce this effect...
