Default D7 Infra Red

I have read on other forums about the original D7's ability to take infra red photos. So it's not in the book. How do I go about it? Anybody know?

I still love this camera. Most of the guys at work have now "gone digital" with cameras ranging from the cheap snappy types to a Sony 717, via S602, D5, etc. I still think the D7 takes some beating.

David,
I had a D7 before, a member in the (old) forum recommended me these filters:
- Hoya R72
- BW 092
- Not the Heliopan IR filter

Default IR

KCan ,

Thanks for the super link. It is really informative. Looks like I can go IR for just a few pounds, assuming I can get the filters.
