Thought you guys mind find this funny.

Konica Minolta X1 released July 15 :

Sony T9 released Nov 1:

I noticed this when the words "Sony is the first manufacturer to incorporate an advanced lens-shift optical image stabilizer into a camera with a folded-path lens system." caught my eye. I guess it's technically true, but the way Sony's marketing guys worded it kind of bothered me.

How do you feel about it?

Indeed they are sharing technology between themselves.

Indeed, to a lesser extent, they already have. My A2 uses a Sony sensor, as does a number of other high end prosumers.

Lots of (non-sony) cameras use Sony sensors. My understanding was that K/M and Sony are partnering up to make dSLRs (can't wait).

I guess K/M is onto something with that anti-shake.

Also Fuji announced same kind problem with their CCDs at same time but those should be their own design...
