Do a search for 'inf' on the Atech CD. Sometime the driver is not at the root, but one or two level down in each OS directory. You should click on 'have disk' option and drill down the CD until window98 detect the driver...

Default USB puzzle(s)

NHL, I'm hoping the microdrive kit with its own USB reader arrives today. Got nowhere with the Atech but want to see if the new reader will be recognised & operate. Looked in the motherboard bios advanced menu. USB legacy support can be auto, enabled, disabled. Tried both auto & enabled. In PCI Configuration USB function was already enabled. Have access to 2 other computers with USB. Tonight I'll try the one with Win2000.

Default Win 98SE & USB hiccups

My computer is (bad?) on 2 counts:
1. AMD CPU, 2. VIA chipset. Windows Support site says there's a timing hiccup with those 2 elements & USB. Got some downloading & fixing to do.
