Hi, I have the minolta z5 camera and I have been using the Sandisk UltraII 1gig card with no problems. All of a sudden when I took some pictures and hit the QV button to look at the pictures the screen came up "System Error" and the camera shut off. It takes pictres just fine but when you want to review them the error message comes up and the camera shuts off. I tried another card and you can take pictres and review the pictures just fine with no problems. Please help. Thank you.

If other card works fine both for sacing and viewing of shots I my vote would go for failed memory card.

Have you tried checking that Sandisk card in computer using USB card reader?

Thanks E.T- I use the card in a sandisk card reader all the time with no problems.I did discover that I downloaded all the pictures on the card on my computerthat was failing. Then I deleted all the pictures from the bad card. I putthe bad cardinto my camera and tried to reformat the card. After reformatting the bad card now it works with no problems. Could it be that by putting the card in another device it needed to be reformatted? I have used the card reader many times but this is the first time that has happened to me. Thank you again.

Putting card to other devide itself shouldn't do anything, but formatting it in other device could cause problem because camera propably required FAT(16) fiels system.

But there's other possiblity, if card reader was reading, or especially writing to card when you take it out of it last time that could definitely cause this kind problem.

Thank you again-E.T, Anything can be possible but atleast the card works now after formatting it back in my camera. I will bee aware when I take the card out of the reader from now on. I don't think it was reading or writting, but I will see. Thanks for your help.
