Default Sorry for another off-topic post, but..

I just want to say I ended up going with Beach Camera, whose ratings are much better( http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1936.html ), for $318 including FedEx shipping. This will be my last post on the subject.

I bought mine with eDigital city and I highly recommend
this store! They are Yahoo five stars merchant.

I ordered last sunday 04/12/03 and they told me about 10/12 days to be delivered, but I got surprised with the
camera in my door on wednesday 04/16/03!!!

The salesperson was gentle and I got no hassle about accessories.
I just asked him twice if it was available and he said yes.

Brand new camera and good price! ($287+$29=$316)
Better pay a little bit more and get good service.

Hawk,

I just went to this site and they only show the S404 for $298. Did they have the S414 on their site when youu ordered, or did you call?
:?

Default Yes.. I ordered it..

I ordered it on the 27th and it's scheduled to be here on the 1st. I received a Fed Ex tracking number and everything went very smoothly. In contrast they actually tell you it's not necessary to call them (they have a busy brick & mortar store as well) because it will slow the processing. I'll let you know how everything is received. I also ordered 128 MB Compact Flash card ($31 + S&H) from www.newegg.com and it's scheduled to be here the day before the camera gets here.

I found the camera using the Yahoo Shopping search
Minolta Dimage S414

http://search.shopping.yahoo.com/sea...mage+S414&did=

And the store over the 5 star evaluation...

Then I called and ordered it because I don't like tho buy online.

The salesperson asked at the end wich price I saw online ($278)
and after that I start to think or they don't have a computer in the
store or they have more than one site with diferent prices. (very usual in this kind of bussines)

But the important was they well recommended on Yahoo and the delivery was surprisiling fast!

I'll buy again there!!
Good loock!

Are any of you aware of any good or great deals on the rechargable batteries and rechargers we're all going to need?

I was hoping to find a AA wall plug recharger as well as one that will recharge AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V.

Thanks in advance.

Default Batteries..

Well.. for starters I'm spending $20 for a mini tripod, case, 4 AA 1600 mah batteries (not the most powerful, but they'll do for now) and a charger at Circuit City.

Hi, i would recommend you get at least 1800 mah batteries. For the filters, you can check www.2filters.com.
